On the 29th night of Ramadan, over 2.5 million worshippers gathered at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque for Taraweeh prayers, marking the completion of the Quran recitation.

Imams including Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais and Sheikh Salah Al-Budair led the prayers, seeking forgiveness and blessings for all Muslims around the globe with strict arrangements ensuring attendees' safety and comfort.

In the early morning hours, the Grand Mosque began to fill to capacity as Umrah performers and worshippers arrived from different parts of the world. 

By the time the Isha and Taraweeh prayers commenced, more than 2.5 million worshippers had gathered, turning the Grand Mosque into a sea of devotion and spirituality.

Both Makkah hotels and Madinah hotels demonstrated very high occupancy levels during the final 10 days of Ramadan.

The prayer was led by renowned Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, Imam of Makkah’s Grand Mosque and head of the Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque, who sought forgiveness and blessings for all Muslims.

Meanwhile, during the Tarawih prayers in Madinah, the Prophet's Mosque saw the conclusion of the Qur'anic recital. Leading the prayers, Sheikh Salah Al-Budair prayed for the pardon of all Muslims.
