Ronnie O'Sullivan has inked a three-year agreement with Saudi Arabia, affirming his presence at all World Snooker Tour (WST) events hosted in the nation. 

In addition to his commitment to compete in tournaments such as the World Masters of Snooker and the Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters, the partnership also consists of establishing of a Ronnie O'Sullivan Snooker Academy within Saudi Arabia. 

This collaboration is aimed at fostering and promoting snooker in Saudi Arabia and nurturing local talent, with the ultimate goal of forging a establishing a solid connection between the World Snooker Tour and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The inaugural edition of the World Masters of Snooker, held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, saw O'Sullivan take home the trophy. The tournament introduced an innovative concept: the addition of a 23rd ball, known as the golden ball, which could be potted at the end of a maximum break for an extra prize of $500,000. 

Although no player won the Golden Ball prize in the first edition, the excitement it generated was undeniable.

In the tournament's second edition, the stakes will be even higher. The prize for potting the golden ball will be doubled, reaching a staggering $1 million. This increase in prize money will add an extra layer of thrill to the tournament and attract even more attention to the sport.
