Radisson Blu Residence Dhahran

Stayed here for a week on business. Overall reasonably happy but not great value for the cost. Main positive was the location near to the mall and to many nearby restaurants and a padel tennis club. However, my room 1211 was very small and smelt of cigarettes. I should have noticed that there was ashtray on the table and immediately asked for a non-smoking room (if they exist). The view from the window overlooked an interior dirty courtyard. I saw one of the suites and it looked very nice. The out-of-hours receptionist with the beard who checked me in/out was very unfriendly and made me feel unwelcome. The other younger receptionist in traditional dress was the total opposite. Friendly, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast wasn't bad but the variety was a bit lacking, EXCEPT for the day when they had an inspection from local management. On that day, the selection and presentation was incredible. It's a real shame that they only make an effort like this when being inspected. I had to ask for the steam room to be turned on and was very disappointed in it because it was not hot at all.

The hote was cool but I have one complaint, at breakfast there is only one worker working in all the business outside the kitchen, the business is so much and so hard on him, I hope you take care of him and bring at least one worker to help him, if I'm going to give the hotel five stars it will be all for this worker, I think he's an Indian, I don't know, just give him a reward for his hard work or give him an upgrade. He was very loving and loyal to his work and helped us a lot and never grumbled.!! If this worker see my review I would say thank you so much I was impressed with all the work you did, not every worker will work with all this sincerity and love like you. ???

rooms are clean no smell but breakfast no recommended theres no many options and i ask the waiter a warm water or room temperature drinking water, but he never give for my kids water, i ask pancake he serve with a very cold pancake after 45 min of waiting. hotel rooms are highly recomended. ended

Room is very small but the location is good, very accessible to malls and restaurant...Quite expensive for a regular room...

Unfortunately the cleanliness and reception service is below expectations. The bad surprise was the suhoor buffet in Ramadan which was really disappointing as no choices for main course (only white rice and chicken cubes). I am hesitant to come back or recommend it to anyone.
