I am an IHG member for over 5 years. EVERY hotel I stay in, except here and Business District Riyadh always charge full for the room on check-in, every other hotel allows payment on check-out or blocks just one night fee at check-in. This allows me to make use of the flexible rate which I book with and charge F&B to my final bill. Unfortunately after my last stay, I had to depart earlier and the process to request a refund is beyond a headache. Still no update, no idea when I will get the refund. The hotel is dated and staff aren't very helpful

As a frequent traveler spending upto 100 nights a year in hotels, my recent stay at a supposedly reputable four-star chain left me utterly appalled. These brands are supposed to be synonymous with low variance in quality, but this particular establishment fell far short of the mark. To be blunt, the place was a hygiene nightmare. They had dead animals in their water reservoir, and instead of handling it properly, they simply scattered the remains across the lawn, resulting in a nauseating stench. But the roden problem was not limited to the water reservoir. The kitchen staff also showed a blatant disregard for cleanliness, handling food with bare hands, in front of guests, and reusing napkins between customers. To top it off, my room was infested with a monstrous spider in the bed. Though I managed to rid myself of the unwelcome guest, in retrospect, it may have been wiser to let it stay and handle the other pests. In summary, my experience at this chain was nothing short of abysmal. It calls into question the integrity and commitment of the entire brand if they cant keep better control of the management at their hotels.

Very bad experience on my first day. I booked this hotel because it has a gym and near this work event I’m attending. Turns out the female only has 2 hours a day from 10am-12pm! I told them that I have a competition when I go back home and I can’t not workout and I can’t workout at 10am as I had work. They didn’t do anything. They just told me this is the rule and we cannot do anything about it. Especially this female at the reception where she wouldn’t even speak with the gym manager, nothing. They should’ve put these details online, I wouldn’t have booked with them then! At least write that the gym is open for 2 hours for women only because adding there is a gym without this condition is a deception, and assuming women are free between 10-12 only. I don’t mind the culture, I just mind not adding this to the website and being more open about it, because I made sure the hotel I stayed in had the gym; but unfortunately I never thought this would be it.

I recently stayed at this hotel and it was absolutely terrible. The price was way higher than other hotels of the same tier, and the rooms were the worst I've ever seen. There was a strong smell of cigarettes in the room, making it impossible to get a decent night's sleep. The facilities were old and run down, and you could literally smell the hotel rotting. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would strongly advise against staying here.

Great hotel with the WORST customer service in the world. We will NEVER be coming back. The manager is the worst and he is so stingy, as if he was paying from his pocket. He literally questioned us while we were going to eat even though our reservation included the meal. He questioned other several things we were entitled to. Terrible, Just TERRIBLE! What good is your fancy hotel if you make your customers feel terrible?!! Mr. Ahmad, I see you positing that generic response to everyone. Instead of being so busy copy- pasting, you can actually take some action. What a disappointment for the Holiday Inn chain of business.
