DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Dhahran

Room service is not up to the mark. Everyday we need to call to reception to get laundry bag. Many times pass this message to house keeping team about missing of laundry bags in room but nothing got changed.

The rooms are old but we'll maintained. The service is hit and miss. Sometimes I get a full service clean. Sometimes I only get a bath towel, other times I get a bath towel and a hand towel, and other times I get a bath towel, hand towel, and shower floor towel. Never been consistent. I'm a diamond member of Hilton Honors and was told I'd be moved to a 1 room suite the next day. They never moved me. Even when I asked about it I was never moved.

I’ve been staying at this hotel for almost 10 years, usually 2-3 weeks at a time - the staff have always been super friendly and helpful, especially the team in the restaurant (shoutout to Omar). Food in the restaurant and room service is typical hotel international fair, but generally good quality. The hotel itself is definitely beginning to show its age, especially in the rooms where the fixtures and fittings can best be described as tired and depending on what room you get things can be broken or require maintenance. The gym in the basement is another place were some renovation is needed, the basics are there but a lot of the machines need some loving care. But again the staff do a great job of keeping the rooms and common areas of the hotel clean and I have found almost everyone to be attentive to any requests or complaints.

The hosting of carl is really good. Appreciate his efforts and never faded smile which definitely feels good and happy.Carl make us very comfortable and help us in every way he can. Jawed at the reception also help us to resolve any problem we had regarding rooms.

Great motel, rooms showing some aging because of the maintenance staff do not seem to have the skills to keep it up the way it was made. The food is good to ok. Remember I am reviewing the food from an American point of view.
