Didn't actually end up staying here. They had accepted the booking but when I reached at night they said the hotel was overbooked. Mistakes happen but the hotel was extremely obtuse and cold towards helping solve anything. They just asked me to find something else. Technical reason: the hotel did not put stop-sale in the online booking system in time and the booking went through with instant confirmation. Have to be careful with bookings here as you can't be sure if it'll actually be there when you reach.

I used to stay at DoubleTree Dhahran in2016, it was super clean… this time, I didn’t believe how gotten worse so badly.. the beds are broken… Walls are scratched. Stinky smells in the morning. I’d never recommend it to anyone.. The ONLY good thing we’re the staff, they were very helpful. Specially Maria.. she totally understood my concerns and frustration… changed my room to the third floor.. so I don’t wake up at 6am smelling cooked onions.. Too bad…

Very disappointed! Restrooms are very small; showers barely can fit one person. The carpet is extremely dirty beyond description. The towels are old and worn out! Breakfast is good and good coffee!
