Aloft Dhahran Al-Khobar

Before I start I should mention I am from Houston Texas, USA and this was my first trip to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. I was very impressed with the hotel from the second I walked into the lobby. very clean, and everyone was very professional. The Staff is very welcoming and will answer any and all questions you have. The restaurant is great!! Amazing food, very clean, and the service while you are eating is professional and courteous. The swimming pool is very nice and very refreshing, especially when it is 104 degrees outside. They do have smoking areas for smokers, and a Mocktail bar. No alcohol, but you wouldn't know it from the drinks they serve. I met the manager, and he was beyond professional. Gave me his business card just in case anyone from our company decided to stay there also. There is a mall across the Hwy in front of the hotel, but I did not get a chance to visit it, since i was there on business. Next trip, I will be sure to make my way over there. If you are coming from or going to the airport, contact the hotel before arriving or departure and they will have a certified vetted taxi cab driver meet you at the airport and take you back for a cost of 195 SAR each. This is a much better price than getting ripped off from a fake taxi cab driver who charged me 300 SAR. Lesson Learned. This Hotel is very nice, clean, with a new modern contemporary feel. I will be staying there again once i get invited back to Dhahran. If you are not from this area of the world do not worry. I had that same misconception and clearly it took me to visit Saudi Arabia to understand and change my mind forever.

Housekeeping by Rabindra brother was awesome and outstanding. I request all the time to clean my room. And he does very well satisfactory and 5 star with good pleasing personality thank you aloft and house keeping team

A fine hotel in Dhahran very close to a shopping center, many restaurants, and other hotels. The hotel is what one would expect from the Aloft brand, classy and trendy. The room I got was spacious, furniture well maintained, and the bathroom well designed and spacious. The hotel has one restaurant onsite, and the food is excellent with a variety of Indian vegetarian and western options. They also have a gym, a swimming pool with limited timings for males and for females, and a small store to buy snacks and drinks. They also have a billiard table. Staff is very friendly and courteous.

Went on a business trip. Booked because it was near mall of Dhahran. I was surprised that there is no easy access to the mall. The front desk staff were cold, bored and impolite. The room was small and the carpet could stand to be washed. The saving grace is the restaurant. Breakfast is good but dinner is amazing. The restaurant staff are excellent. The food fresh and tasty. The chief was flexible and made things to order. I would visit this restaurant even if I were not staying at the hotel.
