Murjan Island, also known as Coral island, is an artificial island in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. It is located off Cornish road and features a park with picnic areas, ferry-boat rides, and a playground. The island is connected to the Dammam pier by a bridge. In order to go to the island, tourists can book a boat from the corniche.
Activities
There is a much-needed green open space on the island with seating arrangements for people to relax and parks that have swings and slides for the children. Murjan Island is also popular because of its ideal location for fishing. Most of the visitors interested in fishing go either at dawn or sunset for a good catch. Another quality of the island is that it is not a crowded place, and people can enjoy a picnic or barbeque with the family in peace.
