The place is exquisite! This is really the best place to have a breakfast I’ve ever been to in Saudi Arabia not only Jeddah The relaxing background sounds of birds chirping is mesmerizing along with the water fountains running really relaxing The French is toast is an absolute must. And the omelette was tasty and delicious The prices are bit high but if you take it as a whole experience, it’s really worth it. Specially that potion are relatively big. It’s an amazing place to take your special one for a quiet breakfast with great ambiance.

The place is very cozy and relaxing, the service is very good and the employees are so respectful and helpful. But the food is not that delicious or may be I didn’t order the good options. The steak was rubbery and hard to chew although I ordered medium well. However, I didn’t regret the visit, and I will repeat it absolutely.

Eating out in a tropical island

The moment you enter the restaurant, you understand why it's called 'Papaya' - you feel as if you've stepped into a tropical island. Lush flora, fountains and bright colors surround you, while the sounds of birds makes you feel like a tiny finch will peep out from behind a large olive green frond. The waiter led us to our table and I fell in love! The wooden tables are painted with gorgeous floral art, each table having a different flower. The food arrived very quickly, and the presentation, aroma and taste of each dish was a delight for the senses. The menu has a variety of options to suit every taste palate. The food is mostly fusion. The restaurant is suitable for singles, couples and children who love to run around the fountains. I would definitely recommend Papaya to anyone who wants to relax in a lovely setting while enjoying flavorful food.

The food was good but the guy at the door made me wait outside alone in the heat and didn’t allow me to wait inside! Even though they had a large empty entrance area! They say it is the regulation which I understand but when you see a female all by herself you should offer her a seat inside the restaurant I don’t think it is ok for a girl to wait all by herself outside!
