Soho House Istanbul

I gave this hotel 5 stars back in 2019 and was excited to go back this summer for a longer stay. We got married in Istanbul and decided to stay at the Soho House after our wedding to rest and relax before going back home. I was disappointed to find out that the pool on the rooftop was closed due to a license issue. In addition, I was not impressed with the massage and facial I had at Cowshed. We also paid almost twice as much (in euro’s!) for the same room compared to 2019. The guest profile seems to have changed as well, with more Arabs staying here now whereas during our first stay there were more Western guests at the hotel. Dinner at Cecconi’s was lovely as always but you do not need to stay at the hotel to eat here. Apheleia, the new terrace restaurant at the club, was a pleasant surprise. The hotel is still beautiful inside and out and the staff is professional and friendly. However, unfortunately I don’t think you get what you pay for anymore.

Situated in an historical building in Istanbul, the Soho House Istanbul is providing accommodation, all day dining food and international drinks with its elegant and cozy atmosphere, it is the meeting point & social club of the city to see and to be seen for members...Highly recommended and will visit again...

We stayed at Soho House for a week while in Istanbul, and absolutely loved it! Each room is decorated uniquely and with the full range of Cowshed products stocked in the bathroom; the robes were an added bonus. Let's talk about the gym. WOW. Quality equipment in impeccable shape. There is a full BASI pilates set up with very reasonable pricing for private classes. The sauna and steam room are super hot (this is a good thing). We spent a lot of time down there, especially when it was raining. We encountered some issues with the noise coming from the rooftop during a few events, and Begum (manager) quickly remedied the situation by switching our room to a a quiet one on a lower floor. All in all, everything was resolved in a matter of 2 hours - amazing! We also have to give a HUGE shoutout to our guy Yokan at the front desk. Yokan literally helped us gameplan our activities each day, taking the time to help us find locations in Google Maps, arrange cabs, and (most importantly) give us the absolute BEST restaurant recommendations. Such a quality human and made our entire Soho House Istanbul experience unforgettable. Random perk: the occasional house cats roaming the common areas on the ground floor while we were on our laptops :)

The hotel is beautiful , the bar is amazing, the location is really nice, the only thing is the service is really slow in the restaurant and the bar. But i would deffinately recomend it!!

This is a magic and marvelous place to be when you visit Istanbul you really have to try the shower it’s like the Niagara Falls. A Very friendly staff is completely at your service to help your visit of Istanbul
