The Break Bar was pretty cool! The area itself is a little pretentious, but we loved the food & drinks. Staff was great & very attentive. We went on a Friday & it was busy but we were able to grab a table pretty quick, thankfully. They have a variety of margaritas, which you know I love. I tried a coconut margarita type drink & it was so different from anything I’ve ever tried, but so delicious. Dreaming about this drink still! The caprese was my favorite appetizer! Spinach artichoke dip & loaded tots were also really good! El Cubano was a recommended sandwich & we loved it! Can we talk about the fries?! 10/10 just for fries! Drooling! I can’t wait to try out their other locations.

Going to The Break was a refreshing experience. I don’t normally write reviews, however I truly feel the staff deserve the praise. It was pretty busy when we arrived and we did not have to wait to be served at all! Riah our server was very attentive to us and made us feel very welcomed. The food was delicious and the environment was so much fun. We will definitely be visiting again soon!

Wilson is the man, great bartender and very personable. He was always smiling, very attentive, and having a great time with us and other customers. He even introduced me to some cool people sitting a couple seats down. Highly recommend the break for a great sports bar environment!

The Break is my favorite bar in Charleston! I’ve been a regular for almost a year now and enjoy every visit I have. The staff is super friendly, drinks are great & th food is even better!! It only gets overwhelmingly busy game nights & for fight night, but even so it’s still a really fun environment. Don’t hesitate to stop by for a drink or snack - you won’t regret it!!

I went and saw a live show here, while the sound from the bands was great. The huge open door from the main bar area to the stage side is a huge problem. It’s hard to listen to live music when the jukebox is competing for sound. I ended up frustrated all night, nobody wants to see a band to hear horrible top 40 blaring as well. It’s disrespectful to the bands playing that the jukebox wasn’t turned off during performances and the patrons trying to hear them. If they want to have both running at the same time then a real sound divider is needed. I personally probably wouldn’t give them more than a 2 for the venue but the wings were great and I ordered total of 30 wings in 3 flavors.
