Description

Fakieh Aquarium in Jeddah is a unique attraction that offers visitors a captivating journey beneath the sea. It was the first aquarium in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and hosts a wide variety of marine life and offering interactive experiences. At Fakieh Aquarium, you can explore an extensive collection of marine life, including exotic fish, majestic sharks, and deep sea creatures including the venomous stonefish.

The beautiful and modern aquariums are filled with a variety of sea creatures including penguins.  The path through the museum is intuitive, guiding visitors through different sections seamlessly. One of the highlights of the visit to Fakieh Aquarium is the Dolphin Show (additional charge). The show offers an interactive experience where you can witness the intelligence and agility of these marine mammals. 

The gift shop at the aquarium offers a variety of souvenirs and gifts. From toys to candies, there's a little something for everyone. The aquarium is also located adjacent to the Blue Ocean Restaurant, a seafood restaurant that promises a culinary delight. After exploring the aquarium, you can unwind at the restaurant and enjoy a meal with a view of the sea.

A medium sized aquarium. Still nice to walk around and get out of the heat. They have penguins too (4 that we could see) and a tunnel to walk under the water. It cost about $15 to get in. Takes about 30 minutes to an hour to walk through. The sign says no shorts or flip flops, but we had both and they said it was fine to go inside.

I recently visited Fakieh Aquarium and was truly impressed by the experience. The variety of marine life on display was remarkable, from vibrant coral reefs to majestic sharks and graceful rays. The attention to detail in recreating the natural habitats was evident, and it felt like stepping into an underwater world. The interactive exhibits and informative signage added educational value, making it enjoyable for both adults and children. The staff were knowledgeable and eager to share insights, enhancing the overall experience. However, the ticket prices were a bit on the higher side. Nevertheless, Fakieh Aquarium offers a captivating and informative journey through the wonders of the ocean, making it a must-visit attraction for anyone interested in marine life.

One of the best places you should visit when you come to KSA\Jeddah It is a container of water in which live fish and other water creatures and plants. You can see everything there a diverse range of marine creatures and species from around the world and from the Red Sea, plus dolphin shows and an auditorium. You will live a mesmerizing and educational experience at one of the best Aquariums in in the world. It is also located at the Red sea beach so you can sit at the beach after the tour and there are many restaurants, cafeteria, cafes and resting places nearb. They accept cash, MasterCard, visa, Apple pay and most of payment methods. The entering fees are about 16.5$ to 19.5$ with the dolphins show. The staff are very nice and professional and they will help you with anything you need. It is a highly recommended place to visit when you come to KSA. You can reach Jeddah from Mecca by "Haramain High speed train" It is a very fast and comfortable train It takes only 25 minutes.

Went here again for the 3rd time after 3 years, nothing much changed, except the fishes, sharks and other aquarium creatures became bigger?. Still a nice experience especially with kids, they are mesmerized. I just missed the seaview now that it is closed by the shisha restaurant for their customers
