To the warmth of home cooked meals & the smell of fresh bread prepared with local ingredients. Created to know our heritage and showcase the beauty of local, seasonal produce and simple recipes. specializes in delicious authentic Saudi cuisine. The restaurant offers an extensive menu. They have several dishes representing several cities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which are Sharing platter, Tamis cream cheese honey, Tamis cream cheese, Halomi salad, Falafel abod pay. They offer high end Saudi Arabian dining in a luxurious environment.  The restaurant offers comfortable open air outdoor seating where you experience genuine Saudi hospitality. The traditional  “Zalata” is a warm tomato and onion mix served with the popular Tamees bread. It is considered a traditional meal for the people of Najd, especially at breakfast and lunch.

 ​​The interior decoration is inspired by the desert, palm trees, and the tent.  The facilities are well appointed as a luxurious oasis in the desert. Their menu is filled with delightful selections. Their heart-warming hospitality and attention wins your heart. Zalata restaurant is located in Old Town, Al Ula.

As much as the food was interesting, the amount of flies and a server that was quite distracted, an experience that could have been great, was just ok. The place is nice, but the team needs to focus on cleaning the restaurant areas, floor, stations etc… This can easily drop to a 3 if they don’t look into details.
