The essence of cool in the heart of Jeddah. Gulf Chinese restaurant was founded on the traditions of Chinese cooking, and they use fresh ingredients daily to create authentic, mouth-watering, Chinese dishes.

In the early months of 1977, Gulf Royal Chinese Restaurant welcomed its first guest. The original restaurant was an intimate 150 square meter space on the second floor of the Royal Hotel, built in the Historic Al-Balad area. Since then, they have been loved by families across generations, slowly expanding the Gulf Royal Chinese restaurant to each end of the Arabian Peninsulas.

Gulf Chinese restaurant is a fashionable restaurant with a contemporary feel but still retaining its distinct Chinese identity. It caters from traditional to modern Chinese dishes, giving your taste buds an unrivaled fusion of truly exotic, mouth-watering flavors from the east.

Hi, this restaurant used to be great in terms of service and food quality. Unfortunately, today, the service and food are really not up to level and degrading big time. The restaurant manager is rude and doesn’t speak properly to guests. It was my favorite Chinese restaurant but now it is really bad. I promised not go back there again ever. If you go there you’ll find no customers or rarely you find one or two families due to their service. I don’t recommend it at all .. thanks

Just for the sake of old is gold. This place haven’t changed since we left them. With good quality of service and experience. Yea this place as is. With no more of progress than before. Prices are more reasonable than expected. Quality is ?? okay wish them more success and all the best.

It's in my neighborhood...I like the ambiance. I am a loyal customer for past 15yrs.. The recent change in the menu is confusing. It seems restaurant management dictating the Chef. Or Chef's gone crazy!!!!!

I have been eating there since 1990. It used to one of the best Chinese restaurant in the kingdom. Sadly they are deteriorating in terms of service and food. Once managed and run by professional staff is now run by staff who make u feel u are in a cheap highway restaurant. Sad.
