Description

Agave offers Lebanese and Italian recipes served in an understated eatery with a rooftop terrace and sunset views. It is a beautiful and elegant food destination in Jeddah which enables you to experience a wide city view.

The restaurant offers a vast menu including all types of Lebanese and Italian dishes. It consists of two separate lounges one for smokers and one for non-smokers and a distinctive open roof to enjoy the alluring sunset and cool breeze during the evenings. There are also waterfalls located in the corners to enhance the aesthetic of this classy place; allowing you to eat while enjoying soothing waterfall sounds. This restaurant is located on the sixth floor of a massive building on Prince Sultan road, Ar- Rawdah district, Jeddah.

The view is nice and ambience is good. We ordered soup and burgers. What i did not like is the service and attitude of the waitress and his supervisor. This is what happen: 1) just 5 minutes after the soup was served they brought the burger which os our main course. When we complain that we are still taking the soup and burger will become cold and requested the supervisor. The supervisor reluctantly came and repeated what the waitress said that normally the order is input in the system and prepared and served at same time ?!?! We told him that all restaurants do this but give time or ask the customer when he wants the main course. The answer was that eat the burger before it get cold ?!?!?!?! 2) while taking our burger they brought the check without us requesting this as we want some desert after dinner. Some customers were still taking food and Interesting enough they allow customers in when we were leaving. The one star is for the food taste which was good but service destroyed that.

The wait is very long and you could wait for 2 hours to get a table. The best way to get in is to know the SON OF THE OWNER! I went yesterday early and put my name and there were ALOT of empty tables but apparently they were reserved for people they know. Although they said they don’t take reservations!? And I saw people coming in and being seated in 2 minutes and when I ask they tell me that they know the son of the owner. The staff though are nice, service is good and food is good but nothing worth the long wait. (King road branch)
