At the corner of Said Ibn Zaid Road sits 8oz Coffee, a large, typical modern setting that specializes in selling ground coffee. The decor here is sparse, but rest assured, there is plenty of energy in the coffees and snacks served at this coffee shop.

8oz has 2 floors, the ground floor being more spacious than the top. The seats are well spread across each floor, giving customers their desired space and privacy. The coffee shop offers a menu with a variety of different beverages, both hot and cold, accompanied by a selection of their unique, tasty cakes and biscuits.

8oz has a fast and simple ordering process: purchase from the counter, and you’ll be given a small electronic disk device; once it rings, you may go over to the counter and collect your coffee and cakes.

This chic and trendy establishment feels and tastes familiar, yet it offers lots of originality in its service and products.

The shop’s interior is exquisite; beautiful! I highly recommend their French Toast (caramel toppings with vanilla ice cream). Despite being a local brand, their drinks are great and comparable to some international brands. From tea to pistachio, they’re awesome.

The atmosphere is great specially for students. The menu however can use more variety to have a small snack. The prices are reasonable and the decor is elegant.

Our order was missing an item (but it hadn’t been charged), the seating is nice but the desserts were just ok, they tasted mass produced. The lemon cake was mediocre at best and was served in a plastic wrapper with no plate and no utensils.

"Hot Oz Latte" was delicious. For the desserts: Go with "Dates Pudding" it was 10/10 you won't regret it, "Honey Cake" was in average. The place is mostly for gathering, it isn't too much for studying.
