The St. Regis Red Sea Resort, a flagship project of Marriott Bonvoy, has officially opened its doors, ushering in a new epoch of luxury travel. This first-of-its-kind private island resort in the Saudi Red Sea project promises a high-end experience like no other.

Located on Ummahat Island within the Al Wajh Lagoon, The St Regis Red Sea is reachable by chartered boat or seaplane, featuring 90 expansive over-the-water villas along the beachfront. Each villa is equipped with a private pool and facilities and the resort includes a signature spa and five luxury dining villas.

Ummahat Island: A Beautiful Island Escape

Tucked away on the luxurious Ummahat Island within the mesmerizing Al Wajh Lagoon, The St. Regis Red Sea Resort stands as a beacon of luxury amidst nature’s splendor. It is the first private island resort as part of the Red Sea Global development.

This private resort, accessible only via a chartered boat or seaplane, offers an undisturbed retreat where the azure waters of the Red Sea touch the unblemished white sandy beaches.

Architectural Masterpiece

Designed by internationally acclaimed architects Kengo Kuma and Kristina Zanic Consultants, the resort's architecture beautifully blends with the natural landscape.

The design takes inspiration from the coral reefs, marine life, and dunes, integrating organic forms with soft curves and spiral shapes into the interior spaces and furnishings.

The selection of colors draws inspiration from the desert, incorporating blue and green hues that mirror the surrounding biodiversity. The contemporary interiors are enhanced with custom furniture, marble, and woodwork, resulting in a distinctive fusion of luxury and comfort.

Luxury Beach & Over-Water Villas

The resort has the luxury of 90 spacious beachfront and overwater villas that redefine luxury living. Each villa, ranging from one to four bedrooms, has a private pool, sundeck, and outdoor shower, offering a unique blend of luxury and tranquility with pricing starting at 7000 SAR per night.

Dune Villas

Drawing inspiration from the sweeping desert sand formations, the Dune Villas are nestled on an undisturbed white sand beach, providing expansive vistas over the azure water.

Coral Villas

Taking the form of shells, the Coral Villas are perched over water and connected by elevated walkways. They offer direct access to the sea from each deck, allowing guests a unique opportunity to dive into the crystalline Red Sea waters.

The villas assure a memorable vacation, featuring expansive windows that capture scenic sea vistas and illuminate the living areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms with abundant natural light.

Tony Coveney, the General Manager of The St. Regis Red Sea Resort, expressed, "The resort presents a unique perspective on contemporary luxury, seamlessly blending the brand's enduring elegance and rich heritage into an exhilarating new locale. We eagerly anticipate hosting guests for an extraordinary getaway."
