I was so shocked when I learned it was a 5 star hotel -will supposedly- because the service most definitely isn’t one of a 5 star hotel. I called the reception two times and no one answered and when they finally did it took them a very long time to get what I asked for so I had to call AGAIN, the balcony was dusty, the sink was clogged. The bedsheets smelled awful like they haven’t been washed, and they were flies in the room. I ordered food and was very disappointed at the pastries, I could tell they were not fresh and they tasted meh, the lamb liver was decent though. I went to the cafe on the first floor and while I was talking to the waiter and ordering I got interrupted by a manger talking to the same waiter and telling him to do something else, I was umm excuse me ? And he just said go sit down we will get back to you later and I waited for approximately 20 minutes for a cold Redbull 💀, the manager was very rude but the waiter was nice, honestly all of the employees were not very welcoming, I was supposed to stay the whole day but after the sink and smell on the bedsheets I couldn’t sleep and I just decided to go somewhere else. I was really disappointed with my visit, they should do better as a 5 star hotel. In my opinion it’s overpriced for what they’re offering.

I stayed in this hotel for approximately 3 months (2 months in a row and another 1 month). The most important thing to decide a hotel for my family was security. At this point, we were satisfied after passing through the gate of Jizan University. Every facility from the lobby to the room was super clean and well decorated. Having 'club sandwich' at the balcony of cafe was one of my favorite moments. Oh, I must say that this hotel has the best swimming pool(both inside and outside) I've ever experienced so far. Also the flower garden was well managed to stroll or take an electric scooter. [Facilities : 10 out of 10] I'd like to talk about other guests I encountered in the pool, too. They were locals from Abha and Riyadh. Most of them were well educated, curious, and soooo kind to wait for my terrible Arabic speaking attempts. One day, My husband and I were guided by a staff of a broadcasting company to enter backstages of audition. It was amazing and even unforgettable! [Ambience : 10 out of 10] Most of all, I must talk about staffs who became such a good neighbor to us. All of them didn't hesitate at all to communicate with us with great hospitality and fondable smile. My husband and I thank to Mr. Lotfi, Mr. Mohamed, Mr. Ahmed, Mr. Ali, Mr. Yousef, Ms. Michelle, Ms. Amnah, Ms. Hazer, and Mr. Uthman. We also thank to fabulous gentlemen and ladies at the front desk, but they always seemed to be so busy that I couldn't ask their names or have small talk. We lastly thank to bell staffs, cafe baristas, the old lady who sold traditional goods, housekeepers, and gate guards. If all of you hadn't been there as the way you were, I couldn't have made my 'Jizan life' well. So I appreciate everything to everyone. I wish you all the best. Stay safe and sound. And see you in November! [Staffs : 10000 out of 10] Dylis Yena Kim

Great in everything except their laundry service isn't reliable as they close early so must take precautions.
