Garden plaza hotel

Pros: This is a very nice hotel and it is very well priced. The interior and exterior are clean, the hotel has nice curb appeal and the staff is friendly and attentive. The hotel is in an area with a lot of construction going on, but there is plenty of shopping and restaurants within walking or driving distance. I stayed in a Jr. Suite, which was very large; it included a seating area with a very comfy sofa and other chairs, as well as a flat screen tv. There are numerous electrical outlets throughout the room and all of the outlets are the standard 3 prong 220 outlets, but they are the design that allows for US style plugs to be inserted (just be sure that your appliances/devices are 220 capable before doing so!) The bedroom is a separate room, which is very nice and has it's own AC unit, which was a nice touch, as well as it's own large flat screen TV. There is an iron, ironing board, coffee station and refrigerator in the bedroom. The bed is very comfortable, large and outfitted with extremely comfortable sheets and blankets. There is a very nice breakfast buffet and room service is available 24/7. The food that I had was very tasty and was delivered quickly ans as described in the menu. Now for the Cons: Every hotel has a few of these, and aside from a couple that really stood out, the rest are small and miniscule, but noteworthy for your planning or info. Parking:::: There is NO ON-property parking. There is a small strip mall, on the west side of the hotel. Depending on how busy those shops are will determine whether you get a spot. There is a bank on the east side of the hotel, but you cant park there for fear of being towed. There is a small parking lot behind that bank, but park at your own risk. There is very little lighting back there, so I wouldn't leave valuables in the car. I was told by hotel staff that I could park there, but found a spot in the strip mall. -There is no safe in the room. Not a huge deal, but it would be a nice addition. -In the Jr. Suite, there is what appears to be a small "kitchenette" area, but it is only a counter and some cabinets. Perhaps the addition of some plates/cutlery and a hotplate would be nice. I would suggest moving the refrigerator, which is the bed room to this area. Otherwise, it is a wasted space. --The bathroom is on the small side and oddly enough, there’s a tub instead of a shower with no curtain, which means that water inadvertently goes everywhere. There are only two towels in on the rack, and there was no floor towel. A minor annoyance is the fact that the shower floor is raised by about 6 inches from the floor in the hall, so I tripped a few times when entering the bathroom or kitchen area. Again, these are all very minor issues that should in no way take away from this hotel. It’s a great place and very well priced. If I happen down to the area again, I would definitely consider staying there again and would definitely recommend it to friends.

I think comments are somehow missleading No parking lot for hotel, had to park in the nearby shopping area parking We booked 4 rooms online, registration procces at the frontdesk was so slow They offer tea coffee and dates in the lobby Rooms are big with sitting area, with very small window in bedroom only Carpets are stained and looks very dirty Not enough towels were provided per person per room There is a kitchinette area but fridge is placed in the bedroom Coffee tea and small water bottles are provided Breakfast at second floor was fine

This hotel is quite , good stuff in reception ( saudi employees ) and Mr. Zyaa ..thanx to him .. Very cooperative and helpful. Respective and good hotel with good prices. This is my Second booking in Alhasa Update: photos added to helpful team Mr. Zyaa and Saudi team at reception . Thanx for thier help during my stay in hotel .. P.s: the Looby is quite and good for meeting for business or friends ( 2 or 4 ) ..

The hotel is ok, rooms are ample but not too much, clean in general. Nevertheless needs some maintenance: carpets are very stained, whilst bathrooms are fine they get totally wet with a shower as there is no barrier between showering space and general bathroom. Poor morning buffet without much choice. Gym is pretty much unusable (first unusable I seen i. 12 days in a row of 4-5 star hotels in KsA). Both treadmills not working well and extremely aged, weights completely outdated and in odd weights. In essence: I would opt for other hotel if you aspire to 4-5 star but still good if you need somewhere to sleep and are not very demanding
