The room at this hotel is quite decent, featuring a large hall, an open kitchen with sufficient accessories for cooking or eating, and a spacious bedroom. However, the bathroom looked quite old. The amenities offered include a kettle, fridge, oven, TV with a few channels, iron box with table. The price is reasonable if you visit on non-weekend or non-public holiday days. Unfortunately, we paid a bit too much for our online booking during a long weekend. The hotel is located in a prime location, easily accessible to major spots within the city and within a 5 km radius. Parking is plentiful and is one of the best features of this hotel.
The service was nice and the staff were good, but during check-out, we had a weird experience. We were asked if we used any mini bar items, and we said no. However, they sent a staff member to check if we had used anything, and we were made to wait for 5 minutes. We felt like they were judging us too easily just because we were expats. It seems that there were some inconsistencies in the inspection process as only expats were checked, while others were not and we were able to confirm where two other guests checked out infront of us while we wait.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel, but I feel that everyone should be treated equally, regardless of their background or status. Paying a premium price should not mean that some guests receive better treatment than others.
