Armada Istanbul Old City Hotel

What a lovely experience to have been twice at Armada Hotel: the first time in 2018 and now 2023. The atmosphere of Armada Hotel is timeless and represented by the exquisite beauty and peace of its lobby, its not-so-obvious treasures we find as we go past the entrance doors, the beautiful tortoises and the quietness right in the middle of Sultanahmet. The breakfast is marvelous, delicious and nutritious. The Terrace view is splendid and the bedroom so comfortable.

Very good location. The view from the rooftop is brilliant. Walking distance from Blue Mosque. The neighbour is also very quite and happening at the same time. A lot of cafes and restaurants nearby. Breakfast options can be better. Same options daily.

I will write my review in two parts. In the first part I will talk about positive points and in the second part I will write about the negative points: positive points: 1- Very kind staff. They give you useful tips to have a nice trip. 2- Great accessibility to the visiting areas and historical places 3-Excellent breakfast 4-Nice view from the roof 5- They make the bed every day. Negative points: 1-Small rooms 2- Uncomfortable mattresses. For the double and queen size beds, they put two twin size mattresses next to each other. When you sleep on the center, the mattresses will move apart. It means that you need to sleep on one twin size mattress. I couldn't sleep well during my stay there. 3- Very narrow and uninsulated walls! you can hear the noises from other rooms when they talk or watch TV. You do not feel comfortable when you want to talk in your room. You do not have your privacy by this feeling! 4- Room services are not such great as we have in the INNs in the US. They do not change the bathrobes or towels every day.

My client is staying in this hotel and hotel services and attitude of their persons working is very rude. Breakfast was not good and it was kept open. Sparrows are eating from that pots. Location is good but room are not good too small.

Location of hotel is very good. Stuff is very helpful and polite. Clean rooms. Bed is comfy but pillows not at all. You should work more on breakfast, every morning is the same. Also chairs in restauraunt should be clean, right?
