Ras Tanura Beach - Eastern Province

Ras Tanura is a public beach in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia. It is a beautiful white sand beach decorated with palm trees. The beach is popular among tourists and locals alike as it is well maintained and provides a friendly atmosphere for everyone. 

Activities

This beach is a favorite weekend site to have a picnic for families living in Ras Tanura. In the shallow serene blue water, adults and kids are seen swimming and playing. Although, there are some sharp rocks on the seabed that swimmers need to be careful of while in the water. 

Some of the most popular activities among visitors include desert biking and camel riding. The view of the setting sun here is as good as it gets. You can see the sunlight reflecting off of the water’s surface and creating a mesmerizing scene that is worth seeing.

The site is well maintained, and the administration has also made arrangements to facilitate families when they come here for picnics by installing shaded cubicles and neat and clean chairs and tables. The family cubicles also have grills for barbeque. Moreover, there is a lot to do for the children with several playgrounds and beautiful fountains on and around the beach. The beach also has small restaurants and cafes that offer both local and international foods. 

Foreigners can easily reach Ras Tanura by renting a car or taking a private bus from the Dammam airport. Travelers can then use Google Maps to reach this beach
