I was upset this important mosque in Islam history was neglected and closed for public. This is 2 nd oldest mosque which hold Friday prayers in Islam.

If want to spend sometime out and enjoy the weather at this time of the year, this is the right place, for the kids and for the adults, I enjoyed spending time in there, and their entrance ticket is 10SR per adult so it is a fair share ???

One of the oldest mosque date back to Prophets era. The second Friday prayer was held in this mosque after Madina City. This mosque is in Al Ahsa city or Jawartha area. Near by this mosque a water park is developed in recent years. When we visited that time it was locked and couldn't see the inside structure. The monument is preserved since than. Worth to visit and see the oldest mosque in KSA. Parking and separate washrooms are present to visitors.

Jawatha mosque is the oldest mosque in the area. It was built in 628 A.D. What's fascinating about it that it was built from mud and now it survived over a thousand years.
