Abha Dam - Asir Province

Located just a 10-minute drive from the city center, Abha Dam is a beautiful lake with a quiet and peaceful environment. The place also has a moderate temperature with a cool breeze blowing across the lake almost all the time, which makes it a good spot to have a nice day out with family or friends. 

Landscape

Abha Dam is surrounded by major city attractions like cable car stations, Funland, and the Palace Hotel. It also has many cafes and restaurants nearby; there is even a Dunkin Donuts just a few minutes walk away from the site. 

During the winter, the lake gets covered with fog which makes for a beautiful scene. Moreover, if you get closer to the lake, you can see little ducklings and fish swimming close to the surface. Kids enjoy feeding the ducks but don’t let them get too close because the lake is quite deep. All and all, it is a good place to spend a weekend with your family and have a picnic or barbeque
