Abha Al Jadidah Cable Car Station

Abha is famous for its cable car rides and has several cable car stations, all of which offer different vantage points giving you a birds-eye view of the entire city. There are four different cable car stations in the city, one of which is the Abha Al Jadidah Cable Car Station that offers breathtaking views of the Sarawat Mountains.

Landscape and Views

The cable car ride from the Abha Al Jadidah Cable Car Station will take you to the top of the Green Mountain, gliding at an altitude of 400 meters above the New Abha Resort. It offers striking views of the city’s rolling hills and the famous lake Sadd.

Very few places in Saudi Arabia offer such an experience which makes this Cable Car ride one of the most popular attractions in Abha city. The ride lasts for 25 to 30 minutes, and once you reach the top of the hill, you will find a number of restaurants and food stalls that offer everything from snacks, drinks, and ice cream. 

After spending some time on the mountain, you should head back to explore the Abha resort, which has tons of activities for children, high-end dining, a shopping center, a bowling alley, an arcade, and watersports.
