Dar Al Hijra InterContinental

It is with a heavy heart that we check out of Dar Al Hijra. Our stay far exceeded every expectation and if possible, I would have given this hotel 7 stars! They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 10am. We got to hotel super early after a long flight and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well. The staff at this property are all great! They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. I would like to send out a special shout out to Abdul Salaam, Ismaeel and Amani from the reservations team who provided us with a complimentary upgrade to the royal suite which really made us feel like royalty. It was perfect for our large family, with 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 lounges and a kitchen. The suite was absolutely amazing and large! Every staff member I encountered, from the conciege to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Jabal Hussein and Abdullah ensured our room was spotlessly cleaned 2-3 times a day! They kept checking up on us to make sure we were happy and satisfied throughout the day. The bedrooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The beds are really soft and comfy! Breakfast was fresh and served a variety of foods to serve every taste. The location is superb. It is right opposite the new food court and is 2 mins walk to the haram. We had a great view of the green dome from our suite. I have stayed at dozen of hotels. This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine. Thank you so much. I can't wait to come back soon inshallah.

We are living here with a family of 5 in a Suite. And the room service is just terrible. We got no room service for 2 days straight. We keep calling and telling at the reception, they say yes to it, and we get no one to clean the rooms. The water does not drain in 1 of the bathrooms. The shower nob is broken. As the room service doesn’t arrive, you get no water as well. We are quite surprised at the level of service we are getting here at a brand like Intercontinental. The only thing best about this hotel is it’s breakfast!

This is my second time saying in this hotel. Great service and very attentive to detail and the service has been second to none. Stay was made fabulous by all the staff and I would highly recommend this hotel. It is close proximity.

Awlad, did really good job cleaning and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. He is one hardworking employee, we would definitely recommend his Service as we were very happy with his job. May allah(saw) bless him abundantly. Ameen!

I stayed here with my family for 3 nights last week. We had a really good stay. The rooms were spacious and clean. Bathrooms were large and shower had good pressure. The staff was courteous and helpful. We had breakfast with our package and it was very good. I highly recommend people to get the breakfast package. Lots of variety of food. My wife like to have gluten free bread and they even had that. InshAllah I plan to visit again soon. This hotel will be #1 on my list to go back too. Thank you.
