Royal Inn Al-Nokhba Hotel (now Maden)

We stayed at beginning on February, the rooms are clean and sizeable. The staff, cleaners and guards are courteous. The breakfast buffet is okay, not very busy. The adjacent dinning room is occupied for large Indonesian group who are there and preaching on mic that is somewhat nuisance since you cant understand it and they are sometimes loud. The location is excellent, specially for women who have closer access to ladies entrance. Many desi restaurants available close by.

I think it's a nice hotel. The food was good. The location was great. But I don't think there are enough lifts for this hotel. There were only 4 and our group was crowded. I was really angry when we entered the hotel. I had to wait a long time for the lifts. Also, the instructions for using the lifts need to be written, too many people use them incorrectly and this makes the queue even worse.

Worst experience, only reason was this was the only place left with rooms walking distance. Apparently there is a reason why they were the only with rooms left.... -Fridge doesn’t work (I complained they did nothing) -A/C wasn’t working complained he did something that made it work non-stop so we literally are freezing now. Complained again he just turned off the fuse and when I said it will get too hot he motioned to turn the fuse on again -not sure A/c related or not but room smells like mold. Every time we walk in from outside huge overwhelming mold odor. My mom is coughing and I’m praying it’s not the start of pneumonia because of this. -bathroom leaks water outside tub-big slip hazard unless you place multiple towels on floor to catch water -bed were atrocious….feel the wood -didn’t clean every morning. I asked one day he said ok and didn’t come. Another day he came and made the beds and nothing else. No trash pick-up no tidying of restroom. Left towels on floor full of water.

An old, outdated, unmaintained hotel. Absolutely not a 4-star standard, maybe a 2-star. Booked it through B***ing.c*m and paid more than double the price than if we booked directly from the hotel (as per the reception staff). Carpets and walls are dirty, closet doors are chopped (My 4-year old child cut her finger when opening one), bathrooms are disgusting and moldy, the shower has no glass or even a curtain. You can imagine how much water in on the floor after a shower. Housekeeping is the worst we have seen, you have to drag the staff to clean your room and then they wouldn't even change the bed sheets! Once ordered room service and the food was not edible. Shortly, other than the location of this hotel, nothing is good.

Terrible hotel. No parking available and staff is very rude. They won’t guide you at all. You are in your own. One of the staff miss behaved with me as well. NOT RECOMMENDED !!!!!
