Midan Hotel

Positive —————- * Good hotel to stay with family. I booked a family suite and it was spacious and clean. * Breakfast is good Negative —————- * They charge for everything. Swimming pool, kids play area etc. * location is a little far from Haram still manageable because they have shuttle service and you can take taxi. * Room cleaning service don’t come on time or you have to call and beg to come and clean the room *Worst* ————- * Receptionists are really rude. They don’t care at all. They actually fought with us and asked us to either stay still 4 PM or leave and they don’t care. (Because we came 1 hour earlier than the checking time and asked for the room). And that Asian looking lady, my god the mouth she has * Please please please DO NOT send your kids to the play area or day care the hotel has. Caretakers literally ill-treat kids, hit kids and shout at kids. We saw with our own eye and we even have proof video. We even complained to the lady who was there. Very sad to see kids gets ill-treated when parents trust them and leave them there

Breakfast was great. The rooms are clean and in good condition, however, they don’t provide good quality instant coffee in rooms and to our surprise they don’t provide milk with your coffee! For a coffee lover, this is a big deal! Further, no iron or ironing board are provided. You have to call room service for one and usually it is being used by another guest.

A really nice hotel to stay for solo travellers without a car. There is a bus service to the Haram which saves a lot, but the timings were not always convenient, and it stops at a very far distance from the Haram where you need to walk for at least 10 minutes. The breakfast is very good. There is a nice swimming pool for families with kids. The staff were OK, but I felt they weren't very friendly as in other hotels.

Pathetic Management Service....i reached way before my check in time and i asked them to charge me addition and let me check in early....they simply said not possible and you have to wait until system opens after 3 hours...so after traveling 1300+ km and umrah...they expect me to wait 3 hours at their reception along with my family.....i even paid for it in advance and did not get any refund as well

Very neat and clean, breakfast having huge range of products and seating arrangements also very good, couple of fresh items also preparing at restaurant during breakfast. Kids club and swimming pool available but there are charges for it.
