Room is clean and cleaning team are polite and thorough. Can’t seem to get a hot shower though, it is a warm shower but not hot. I also am used to having cue tips and other cotton pads to apply and clean my face. These have been absent for the duration of my stay.

i stayed here twice and both times it was the worst experience of my life with any hotel. the first time i stayed here the AC and water heater were not working and i kept asking them to fix it and they kept ignoring me. when i left the customer service manager called me and promised me a better stay next time i come in and i took her up on her offer. i stayed here again this time and they had to change my room 3 times even though i called them a day in advance to ensure they put me in a room where the water heater and the AC are working and they still put me in rooms with damaged AC and water heater. i also asked them to ensure the cleanliness of the room and bathroom as they were filthy with mold and dust the last time i stayed and they promised me a clean room. i had to deal with the room changes at 11 p.m. even though i asked them to switch my room at 1 p.m. and they left it till the end of the night. when they gave me a new room i went into it with the concierge and as i was unlocking the room door, turns out they gave me a room that someone else was in and i walked in on the man in his UNDERWEAR. when i went to reception they did not take it seriously which concerned me because it could mean that they could give someone else access to my room while i was in there. the room was still dirty the whole time i was there even though i kept asking them to make sure the rooms are clean and the cleaners were just making the bed and leaving not cleaning the bathroom or anything else. this means that the rooms are not being properly cleaned between guests. two of the receptionists were extremely rude to me (one hung up on my face). the stay here was hell. i do NOT recommend this hotel.

I have been a diamond member with Hilton for over 8 years and have stayed at several of their brands. All their hotels around the world are amazing in general. However, I did not have a good experience at this particular DoubleTree hotel. The rooms are great and way cleaner than expected. The service isn’t as good though. I have a flexible booking and was set to arrive at 7pm. Check is usually at 3pm. They emailed me in the morning before even flying to Riyadh asking me to pay the full amount of the reservation or they will cancel my rooms. Their excuse was that they have overbooked the hotel which is not my problem at all. Several emails back and forth, they finally caved in and shut up. Then at check out they ask me to pay 2000 riyals more (~$600) for “extra” on the room at a time I had a coffee downstairs. Then they told me it is for extra room charge. They upgraded me, which I am entitled to as a Diamond member, but then they wanted to charge me the difference. Never seen such unprofessionalism.

The food and beverage staff is incredible, particularly Isiko and Suresh, and made this place feel like home. The room was clean, although the age on this building is noticeable from some outlets that don't work and falling curtains. The reception staff is generally accommodating and kind. The staff and community really is the selling point of this hotel.

I’ve received an invoice from the hotel system with unexpected additional charge to my credit card. Today is February 3rd and it unbelievably incredible this hotel administration didn’t solve my issue, which makes me wonder why ever come back. Extremely frustrated besides the financial damages. … I have checked in on Dec 3rd and checked out on Dec 5th. I have 4 nights charged to my credit card without been even notified about that. I’ve been trying to reach out the hotel and have been ignored. I will make follow up on my rights as consumer.
