InterContinental Al Jubail

Visited for a technical conference. It's high time to renovate this premium hotel. The flooring and wall tiles are very old and seems the business is dull or management doesn't want to renovate. The service was very impressive. The food quality was just average. Need better parking space.

The hotel is very very old - 90s or early 2000s style. From the first moment you get in, you'll know it has never been touched for years. Service is nice. Staff is very friendly. I booked one day half-board. In my opinion, dinner restaurant is kind of a joke. You'll be surprised how small and poor it is. Those chefs must have never seen hotel restaurants for decades. However, breakfast is very nice. It's in an air-conditioned tent near the beach. It's really good in terms of varieties - space - seating. There are no activities in the hotel at night. So, get ready to go outside if you want to do something different. The beach ⛱️ is nice. However, the water needs deep cleaning from algae. It's really disgusting. As a summary, if you're inside the kingdom and you want to sit in front of the sea and swim (you and your family) or have your kids play on the beach, this is a quite good choice. Don't fly too high with your expectations. Hint: No comment on the swimming pool. It's a killing joke (smaller than a house pool) and it's indoor. My gym pool is way bigger.

Good hotel in general but small rooms. The elevator takes for ever to come to your level. The beach side is nice but the water shower is cold for kids. Nice experience

I recently stayed at this hotel and I have to say, it was a complete disappointment. The first thing that struck me was how crowded it was. There were people everywhere, and it felt like there was no space to breathe. The facilities were also poor - everything felt old and outdated. But the worst part of my stay was the pool situation. There is only one family pool in the entire hotel, which means that you have to make a reservation just to swim. This is ridiculous! I didn't come on vacation just to spend my time waiting for a pool slot. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

First of all, I used to come to the hotel all time along. Now everything isn’t the same way before. The room service is now slow, and there isn’t any fun games in the beach without paying A LOT of money. If they could improve in the service and entertainment, I will certainly give them a 5 star.
