- 1. They won't care if someone is critically ill in their hotel at midnight. They don't even have the decency to ask what's wrong. All they said when asked about a doctor was a No. My wife was asked to go out at midnight and get a taxi to find a doctor. It was an emergency. Who would be responsible if something terrible was to happen? They don't care at all just because their hotel is full. 2. The room feels claustrophobic. Old furniture and a weird vibe about the room. 3. Shower was not fixed. Bathtub stopper was not working 4. Kettle was not working 5. Bathroom door and furniture door was very difficult to open. 6. A simple glass of ice took 40 mins to be delivered to the room. 7. Very rude staff at the reception. 8. One out of 4 times they will pick up your call when you call the reception. And you'll have to call at least thrice to get things done. 9. We had an early check in which the hotel approved. But still took them 1 hour to provide us the room, 10. We had booked a standard room with a double bed but upon requesting also they gave us 2 single beds. 11. The carpet stinks and looks like it has been there for ages! Pro Tip: if you don't speak Arabic this is not the place for you. They only entertain Arabic speakers.

I do not recommend this hotel at all, it has nothing of the criteria of a 5 star hotel, more of a very mediocre 3 star hotel. The room was extremely small, it smelt musty barely even enough space to pray in, no day light the window was facing a wall. The carpet was damaged and dirty. The bathroom was even smaller, and there was no strainer on the drain, broken shower head not to mention the horrible smell of humidity. The AC made unbearable loud sounds and you couldn’t change the temperature so the room was very cold. Most of the staff was very rude and unprofessional and they wouldn’t clean your room even after asking multiple times. After many complains they “upgraded” us. The room was basically the same with the exact same problems. The reception said they couldn’t do anything about it and it’s the best they had. The food was mediocre and I noticed that the fruits weren’t even washed properly. And it’s pretty faraway from women’s masjid. This is as total scam for the expensive price we payed.

Well to start the rooms were dated and the facilities were mainly unusable or broken. The service was bad, the receptionist personal were all rude, the manager never bothers to consider when you try to communicate what's wrong, and to end it the laundry service was too expensive. The location was good, the hotel emplacement was close to a local sooq and to the mosque itself The location was the only good thing, the staff and the service were very bad, and the management even worse.

Shambles Don't waste your money. It may be listed as a 5 star but I've stayed in many and this hotel would be nothing more than 3 stars. A hotel whos ventilation system in the bathroom doesn't work. The drainage is slow resulting in a build up of water in sink and showers..the food is below standards and drinks (dilute) is served at breakfast time and dinner time in plastic cups. Tea is dispensed in paper cups. The rooms are out dated with mattresses still covered in plastic resulting in condensation. A double is given out as quad room, with 2 guest beds added narrowing room and walking space. The rooms are dinghy and lack comfort.. The hotel staff all require training in hospitality and customer service. A zero rating would be best!

A run down property. No way near five star. I am staying here until 23rd July as part of Hajj package. Food is awful, tasteless and cold. Had dinner for two days and it was absolute disappoitment. Carpet in corridors stink and are the dirtiest ever seen. We are trapped into this hotel by Motawif. No value for money what I paid. Room keys doesn't work. In less than 20 hours I had to go down, two times to reactivate the keys.
