Al Shourfah Hotel Madinah

It's a nice hotel. Very close to Masjid Nabawi. The only downside is that you need to charge the room key every day to be able to use it.

Great customer service. 2-5 minute walk from the Prophets mosque and access to food and shops. The only negative thing regarding the room was the after using the shower or the toilet the bathroom would stink. I would NOT recommend their laundry service as a third party is involved. We gave our laundry and we were told to count how many items we had given. It takes 24 hours to return only to find that myself and 4 others girl’s underwear went missing ! We had gone to the laundry location which was about 15-20 minute walk from the hotel and we asked where it went and they said they couldn’t find it. How does all our clothes return except for our underwear ?! Our clothes were also given to them in a laundry bag which was also never returned.

its not a high level hotel but a decent one. staff are very sweet and welcoming, very worth for the price. most importantly, if you take the right road then haram is just 3minutes from hotel.

I’ve been in many hotels before in my life, but jiwar hotel was the most unhygienic one. In the first night I found a couple of hairs on the pillow, and on the blanket I saw what seems to be blood. The breakfast was so bad I went to a coffee shop instead of eating there, and lastly the elevators is sooo slow. From my experience I do not recommend any body to stay there.

I stayed at this hotel as it was booked under travel agency. Before I get into the bad points, I have to say the location of the hotel is quite near. Ok here are some of the bad points. I was super disappointed and sad with the conditions of the rooms. It was dirty and small. Imagine small space 22 by 12 feet and it was crammed with 4 single beds with big luggages and 4 adults in that room. There wasn’t any space and room to move at all. Don’t get me started with the quality of food. They served us overcooked rice for 3 meals. There wasn’t much variety at all. Same thing for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Me and my family can’t even consumed it right after our 2nd day here. One more thing the service by this hotel also is bad. I have to ask for towels 4 times before they gave it to us.
