Beschreibung

Great experience. Yiu will be able to see an old village quite well preserved from outer structure of the residences streets etc. However inside houses is totally destroyed. This should be further preserved as its nice place to showcase history and people to come and see the old village. It's almost 2.5 hours from Riyadh. You can freely walk around. People of this small town were quite friendly. Must visit atleast once.

Its an Old heritage building. According to Saudi’s there, it’s an 150 years old building and civilization. It’s an not great place to roam around u can just view some old stuffs there but u can travel here if u want to travel for a evening or some time u can’t go there but as a traveler it doesn’t really make u fell something great It’s good for family members to go and spend some time There many small museums inside which will cost 10 riyals per head and entry in the heritage is completely free only on the places like museum and few areas u need to pay or else it’s free completely Neat and clean and also very friendly atmosphere but not worthy to an extent but u can view how people lived before 150 years.

A unique cultural heritage site for Saudi Arabia. Advantages: 1) This place is still preserved. 2) There is a very interesting museum with valuable exhibits and a very hospitable host. I want to come back there again and again. 3) There are not many people here and you can calmly enjoy the environment. Disadvantages: 1) It seems that the authorities are not very interested in this place. It gradually collapses. 2) There is a lot of rubbish. The walls are painted from the inside with different inscriptions and graffiti. 3) Dangerous areas are not fenced off. You could fall and be seriously injured. 4) There is nowhere to have a snack in the village itself and there is nowhere nearby, except for a small shop and some kind of a restaurant serving tea or coffee at very high prices. It would be nice to have at least a small restaurant like Najd Village here. This historic village is a must-see at least once. You will not regret it, but be careful not to climb into dangerous places where the floor could collapse under you.

The castles belonged to the governor and is preserved by their descendants decades later , in a way to preserve their heritage . Its mesmerising to walk the same path as them and watch how they lived. To enhance this experience stay over the weekend
