Piatto Italienisches Restaurant - Riad Beanspruchen

Last time when i visited Riyadh, we happened to have lunch to this cool place named Piatto Restaurant. The atmosphere is very nice, and we opted to seat on the second floor of the area. When eating there, there will be an unlimited salad and soup bar. Great selection of salads and usually 2 choices of soup-lentil soup and tomato soup which i find very creamy and will definitely open your appetite for what you will be having next. As for the appetizer, we were supposed to have the artichoke one, however, they ran out of it so we chose Truffle Mac and Cheese Balls. It was 4 pieces and good for sharing and it was a delight. My husband even finished his share in seconds! For our main dish, we both had the Steak Pizzaiola which are grilled rib eye steak with spaghetti in marinara sauce. I did love the way it tasted and the servings are quite big for me and i ended up taking my left over home. We had a medium sized pizza that the waiter gracefully offered to have 2 flavors on it, we had pepperoni and their best-seller chicken peri-peri. Unfortunately, our pizza came late as they have missed our order. So we had it on a take out box and enjoyed it at home as a late snack. But i think i would have liked it more if i had it freshly cooked. During that day, they have an offer for their unlimited very refreshing in-house blend iced tea for just 10sr! To finish off our meal, we had their famous ice cream gelato- creamy, rich and smooth. Over all, it was a very pleasant and satisfying lunch. And by the way, before leaving, we happened to pass by an area where kiddos are doing their own pizza and a play area for them to keep busy.

I usually come here for the complimentary salad and bread. The menu has a wide selection of Italian dishes; my favorite was the burrata salad. My little one also liked her rigatoni chicken pasta. I wasn’t very happy with the service, considering that the restaurant wasn’t very busy. I also wish they would offer kid portions or a children’s menu. Orders: Parmesan-Crusted Mozzarella Chicken and Pine Nut Rigatoni (switched it to pink sauce) Truffle Mac & Cheese Balls Burrata and Tomato Salad Spaghetti and Meatballs Burger Piatto Chicken and Mozzarella Sandwich

The ambiance is great, I liked all the dishes served the taste was great. I am expecting they can do better in pizza. The chocolate cake was delicious.

My all-time favourite restaurants in Saudi Arabia. Its s top-notch place, great ambience, delicious food, professional service, all the round the clock. Highly recommended.

Of the many pleasant dining experiences with Piatto, our visit to Piatto Eastern Ring road was quite unusual. First, the garlic bread served was burned, second the salad dressing was not creamy and lastly, the dynamite shrimp was reduced to small shrimp rather than the customary medium shrimps. I hope the management could take note further and always maintain the standards of Piatto - comfort Italian cuisine.
