Not a 5 star, 3 star plus probably. Reception staff not too welcoming specially the female staff. Best part is VERY FEW STEPS to HARAM gate 88. Neat and clean. Old but well maintained

What a disappointment This hotel was my first really bas experience in Makkah out of 6 visits this was by far the worst. From the lack of cleanliness, the lack of towels and basic amenities, and the failure by the staff to provide the simplest service. We haven’t even checked out but i just had to submit a review to warn others. I’ll start with the bad then mention the good. A. The room was not clean to a standard of even a two star hotel. B. Bathroom was not clean C. We had two towels only in a room with four beds for 4 adults. We spoke in person ( since no one wanted to answer the phones) to reception and they said they would send towels up but nothing happened. We approached house keeping but the man said I can only give you One extra towel as we don’t have enough. D. We requested house keeping twice but no one showed up. We even spoke to reception and they went to ask the a worker in front of us to go up to our room to clean JUST the bathroom. Again no one showed up. E. Every single phone call to reception was not answered There are other options in the area Never again for the 4 of us or anyone we care about. Now for the good LOCATION its literally steps away from the haram The price was economical but not cheap due to the proximity to Haram

After spending the first night here, we found bed bugs in one of the beds! This was so traumatising and disgusting for my sister, and considering this is meant to be 5 star hotel. We were given new rooms and demanded free laundry for the clothes which were used. The key cards are very temperamental - the amount of times we had to go back to get it fixed as it doesn’t open the room doors. One of our doors also didnt shut fully unless we pulled it extra hard. Bell boys there are helpful and friendly. However hotel staff at reception especially the girls are not! They are rude and lack manners, and clearly forget they are in the most holiest place on earth. Breakfast is decent - fresh omelettes are made. Lifts take too long to come as well. Wifi isn’t great - you have to log back in every time you come back to the hotel. The road to hotel is closed during prayer times so we had to walk to the cabs with our luggage and be picked up and dropped off away from hotel. It is near haram but better off choosing somewhere more convenient.

Hotel is at good location and its proximity to Haram is good advantage. Breakfast buffet is brief and good enough. Our family enjoyed the stay in general, however there are few scopes of improvement. Front staff is bit unresponsive, request for luggage movement at checkout was not granted. There is no access for taxi or car parking, often guest has to travel long to get taxi. Housekeeping on call was not working, needed to remind them quite often. Room makeup was not done for our four days of stay that generally expected of a 3-5 star hotel. Hotel by look if quite old fashioned, however this or all above aspects can be ignored for comfort of walkable distance to Haram.

The rooms are not well maintained, they are old and worn. The location is perfect, it is not complicated or a long walk to enter and exit the hotel like some of the other larger hotels. Shops and food outlets nearby. I stayed here for convenience not for the luxury.
