Hotel service is the worst and none of the staff can speak English. Heavily delayed check-ins, but they will come knocking onto your room every day at 12-3 p.m. asking you to check-out so that they can fill in new customers. Most of the customer service is unfriendly, only the cleaners are friendly and helpful.
We stayed for 7 days at Room 621. The first day we checked-in, the shower is already broken and everytime we use the bathroom (precisely the sink), the floor will be piled up with water and the whole bathroom is flooded. We had to call on the plumbers to resolve the issue multiple times. This hotel doesn't have daily schedule for housekeeping, you have to ask them to come and clean your room. During housekeeping, the cleaner doesn't take off his shoes so there is literally no point in cleaning. They didn't provide the room with standard necessities such as hairdryer, iron and hangers. The lights are dim, one of the night lamp is broken.
Overall environment of the hotel is awkward, edgy and unpleasant, you'll often hear people arguing in the lobby at 3 a.m. At peak hours the lift will be cramped up and people will cut you off in the waiting line so you'll have to take the stairs. But the stairs smells like cigaratte and there is low ventilation there. You'll feel like dying.
The only pros are that the provided Wi-Fi signal strength is very good and the hotel is only a 5 minute walking distance to Masjid Nabawi (Gate 328). But the hotel management are aware of this, the short distance to Masjid Nabawi is a great advantage so they wouldn't be bothered to fix the issues.
