Centro Corniche Al khobar

Stayed in Centro Corniche, Khobar for 4 nights in April 2024. Positives: The location is great, located on the Corniche road, surrounded by many upscale cafes and restaurants, and within 10-15 minutes of walking distance from Khobar Corniche. The staff in the hotel were sincere, courteous, and tried their best to ensure service. However, the hotel seemed to have very few staff in every service area (restaurant, housekeeping, etc.) and therefore only the few staff seemed very busy and struggled to ensure service despite their best effort. Negatives: 1. Room access: Only 1 card was given per room for family to share 1 key. We asked for extra keys and was told that the hotel is short of key cards and we should come back next day. 2. Breakfast: Breakfast was very crowded, we were asked to wait and they could give table 15 minutes before end time for breakfast. Just on end time of breakfast, they switched off lights which was very disrespectful . We had to ask to turn on lights. The service also wasn’t good as they gave only fork and no spoon and we had to ask for spoon, no cups near coffee machine and we had to ask for cups. The staff seemed trying their best, but it seemed only few staff the hotel had that wasn’t enough for the number of guests. 3. Housekeeping: we called the housekeeping number from room phone many times in 3 consecutive days and no-one picked up. We therefore had to call the front desk every time for housekeeping. On one day, they took away used towels but forgot to give fresh ones! We had to ask for towels on 2 days. 4. Rooftop cafe: We went to the cafe with our friends and the service was a nightmare. They served some of the items from the order and forgot drinks our friend ordered separately. After waiting for 40 minutes, we reminded to serve the drink and they went to get it and never returned. While leaving, my friend went to the payment counter to pay and asked why they never served the drink and the reply from the Manager was they lost the order!

Good 4 star. Needs more breakfast variety it's kind of poor The soap and shampoo are bad quality they will damage your hair ,the receptionist ( the females ) always look angry and don't have the attitude and attention for being a hotel front The roof cafe needs to add more items Great location, but prices are high compared the offered services

Breakfast is not even ok. There is no slippers in room, water is so weak in rooms. But internet connection is the worst one i have ever seen. Location is good. There is market opposite side of the street. Its close to nice restaurants.

Checking in was a horrible experience, group of 8 guys, and it took about an hour just to check in. Buffet breakfast was amazing, large variety. Room was cosy and clean, and the bed was soft and comfortable. Starbucks coffeeshop inside the lobby was a nice touch.

Everything was okay at the beginning with the Filipino attendant. I like the view. It ended up horrible with one Arab staff working at the roof top bar . He was complaining of the kids for behaving like normal kids do. They are not kids friendly . I shall go back there to check for that name of the staff. I feel like he owns the place, not minding the feelings of parents. He literally shoo us away and made it sure we were out of the roof top bar. In my opinion they should be kids friendly to get more people renting the hotel. They should really check if the main floor attendant has a good or bad attitude and give them punishment. He really ruined our happy mood.
