Braira AL Azizia Resort and Hotel

We came at 6:10pm and we were told they will open at 6:30pm even though they said that there was one table already heading to the buffet gable and getting food so that was odd.. So we went around to check the alfresco area while waiting for 25 mins.. We came back at 6:20 and a group were already dining.. We felt that they were biased and let the others get the first dibs on the buffet… Anyhow, when we checked the food, they only have the following, butter chicken, baked potatoes, baked brocollis and carrots, vegetables in red sauce something, the lamb Biryani or kabsa rice, chicken soup and anotherr soup, fried frozen fish fillet, chicken white steak, mix grilled kebabs, red pasta without meat…The food was so so and has limited variety…they had the biggest shaping dish with full of biryani rice with a “Little” portion of lamb on top and take note they didn't refill… they probably just had less than 10 adult costomers and the lamb was wiped out so yeah I call that little for a buffet setting. Their desserts are also something you won't be longing for… I didn't take photos of each food since itbwasnt that good… If your are looking for variety and tasty dishes then better go somewhere else because 99 but if you are after of an alfresco chill bive then you could give it a try.

I have stayed at this hotel once. Will I come again? To be honest, it's unlikely. Advantages: 1) This is one of the few hotels with a private beach. 2) The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. 3) The rooms have a microwave and stove. 4) There are very thick curtains in the rooms - with one movement you can turn day into night. 5) The territory of the hotel itself is very beautiful, there are many trees and shrubs. 6) The staff tries to be helpful. Cons: 1) Very, very high prices. For two nights I paid 2125 rials, which is more than twice as expensive as for a similar level hotel in Bahrain. But, as could be said, it would be something to pay for. And with this there are big doubts. 2) First of all, the beach, of course. For the first time in my life, I googled the tide schedule. Why? Because at low tide, 30 meters from the shore, near the buoys, the water was knee-deep. At high tide, the water was up to the neck. My height is 175 centimeters. Who is this beach for? For small children? 3) There are few places on the beach and by the pool. During my visit, most of them were free, but if the hotel is full, there will definitely not be enough places for all the guests. 4) There was an unpleasant smell in the toilet of the room - the smell came from the sewer. 5) The door to the shower did not close well. 6) Parking should be fenced off - cars are almost on the road. 7) Breakfast left an unpleasant impression. Very small selection of food. Meat was sausages and minced beef. But, I must say, this is a problem for many hotels after the start of the pandemic. Summing up, I would like to say that the reason for such problems is the lack of competition. Dammam and Khobar have a long sea coast, but a few hotels have a private beach. And for this reason, they allow themselves to set terribly high prices. Compared to Novotel in Bahrain, where a room costs 450 rials per night, the cost of a room in this hotel should be a maximum of 350 rials.
