Very much enjoyed my stay at the hotel. My room was very clean, and although basic there were no problems with any of the fixtures aside from VERY spotty wifi (excellent throughout the hotel, terrible in my room). It had tea/ coffee, small safe, bottled water, fridge, TV (some international channels), multiple sockets for plugging in, and a small desk. Bathroom facilities were fine, with clean towels, hairdryer, and in my case, good water pressure for the shower etc. Conference facilities were perfectly good. The highlight of the hotel for me were the rooftop terrace (a very nice view of the water and of the Blue Mosque) and staff. Throughout the hotel everyone was overall very friendly when I asked for assistance, and attentive to me as a customer when I was simply enjoying a drink or something to eat. I've seen other reviews talking about the inconvenient location but I didn't mind the walk into the bustling part of the city at all. Some restaurants can be found nearby, and the waterfront is mere minutes away (although not particularly picturesque at this location.) Although breakfast is serviceable (watch out for the seagulls lest you lose your meal!) the dinner menu is tasty, but (as is usual with many hotels) over-priced and a bit limited in scope.
