For those who are looking for a hotel in a calm area and near touristic areas and sea in istanbul, this hotel is highly recommended. It has the best location near sea and all historical places and the old souk/shops are cheaper than other places. The staff are professional, the room is clean and it has all facilities except for shampoo and shower gel. The restaurant has a magnificent view, and the food ( breakfast and lunch) is tasty. It has the best tea and turkish coffee.

The hotel is just inside the city walls but traffic is a problem as the pavements are narrow and uneven. It is clean and tidy. The staff are helpful and friendly. Drinks can be expensive. They offered a discount to eat in the restaurant which has a super view of the top of the Blue Mosque and a view of the sea.

Perfect stay for perfect price. Don't expect ultimate luxury, but expect a decent relaxed stay if you are in istambul. The location is amazing to be close to the most popular destinations in istambul. It's a bit noisy a night if your room is a sea view, but it is not unbareable. I loved it for the purpose of sleeping and eating breakfast in the morning.

My family and I just enjoyed a one-night free stay from Turkish Airlines at Armada Hotel. The hotel is conveniently located, just a few minutes walk away from Sultanahmet and the Blue Mosque. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. The room was a bit small but very clean, cosy, comfortable beds, and super quiet. It had all what is required for a good night sleep. The hotel is a museum itself, and the terrace is beautiful, with impressive views. But the very best of all was the staff. They were always helpful, cheerful and willing to assist. We are very happy we chose Armada for our stopover in Istambul and I highly recommend it. 45 minutes away from the airport.

I don’t understand why this hotel is rated so low. I got 5 star service. The staff is amazing. The breakfast is world class. The room has old school charm. This hotel is like the movie Hotel Budapest. It’s a true world traveler hotel.
