This museum offers an absolutely fascinating insight into the history of Saudi Arabia with a particularly strong emphasis on ancient history. The religious memorabilia and special exhibit on the life of the Prophet was very informational. The museum was kept very clean and had modern, high quality facilities. It is walkable and also attached by a beautiful garden to a Palace and Royal Car collection. However, I wish they would have more structured tours and guidance. Currently, one must independently explore and try their best to gain a good insight without explanation.

Very interesting museum, however it still has some road ahead of it.
+ Free entrance as of 20.12.2023
+ Easy scope into the history of KSA
+ A lot of maps and diagrams
- vague descriptions of elements (understandable)
- a lot of reconstructions (understandable)
- a lot of reading upstairs - difficult to understand at places
Why the minuses? It is a young museum of an archeologically young country, so it will take some time to be as expressive as the other ones. I vote to be patient and enjoy what is there now

Access to the museum is easy, there is sufficient parking space, entrance is free, the museum building is modern and spacious, the staff is helpful and informative, it has a very beautiful inner garden. However, its content resembles an exhibition rather than a museum. A lot of visual content has been created, from geology to history, from history to art. I was surprised by the lack of ethnographic content . I recommend you spend a few hours and visit the museum to get knowlage about the country.

Worth a visit.
Wonderful place to spend a few hours for family and kids especially when the weather is cool.
The authorities have done a great job.
Best time is to go before sunset and see it during the day and then get a chance to experience the ambience after sunset

Great place and attraction to visit. Must visit place for history. It has a park as well with lovely views and fresh air. No entry fee. Wifi and internet are not available/ didn't work.
