- Location and view are perfect
- Staff are friendly
- I didn’t try the rooms
- Food and beverages are average (no great variety)
- Not suitable for conferences, may be suitable for big meetings

The hotel is located in a great area and the interior design is amazing. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. Otherwise hospitality of the place is Inconvenience. I have visited Shangri-La hotels around the world and this is the worst.I favour Shangri-La hotels but Jeddah branch is a disaster, no one take my luggage till I asked for the manager, they asked me rudely to move my car then ignore me, and other unprofessional behaviours around the hotel facilities.

I want for a breakfast with friends , the location was great food was good, but services was not pleasant at all ( I did ordered 3 order non came until the time were the restaurant will close I did asked 2 waiters one of them said ok and never showed up the 2nd brought the order after a while and they asked us to pay the amount with no compensation ) I think a hotel like this should have a better services ??

Hotel good, luckily I have my heater with me… it’s cold as f… even at 25c setting. It stays at 20…. Or even goes down. So I need to turn off the air one. And let the heater runs. A lot better.

I have stayed in some Shangri-La hotels before, and I know their standards are high. The Shangri-La Jeddah didn't disappoint me. The rooms and common areas were both stylish and comfortable. I loved that the rooms had balconies. The bathrooms had options for both shower and bathtub. The mini bar, a large Nespresso machine, and different teas were a nice touch. The location was both central and quiet. The variety of breakfast buffet was very satisfying. Now, let's talk about the things I didn't like: Actually, there was only one thing that bothered me. I mentioned that breakfast was an open buffet. But you can only order omelets at the table. Despite there being many staff around, you can only give this order to one specific waiter. Sometimes, it takes half an hour for the waiter to take the order, and then another 20 minutes for the order to arrive. So if you want to have an omelet for breakfast, you have to set aside an hour and a half for this. I recommend they do something about this.
