吉达岛清真寺也被称为浮动清真寺，因为它建在吉达海边，一半的结构似乎悬浮在水面上。这座清真寺不仅因其作为清真寺的地位而吸引信徒，还因为它提供的美景。涨潮时，清真寺犹如漂浮在海浪之上。岛清真寺位于吉达滨海路，其结构突出了吉达的景观。这座白色清真寺被棕榈树环绕，看起来真的像一件艺术品。蓝色海水的波浪拍打着清真寺和岩石海岸，是一边散步一边欣赏海景的好地方。黎明时分和 Asar 祈祷之后，随着太阳光线从海浪中反射回来，这一景象尤其令人着迷。
清真寺的结构和设施

A relatively small mosque with nice view of the Red sea behind. The toilet facilities were paid, which was quiet embarrassing for us. The ablution facility was also limited. Altogether, it is memorable for its nice surroundings.

This is a arab sea mosque.
The Island Mosque was designed by Egyptian architect Abdel Wahed El-Wakil and was conceived as a sculptural element accentuating the Jeddah landscape - the architectural equivalent of the city’s sculptures. At the same time it provides a place of worship in a part of the city that had not yet been served by a mosque. A small island was created on the edge of the coral reef just off the Corniche; the narrow path leading across the water thus becomes a symbolic journey of pilgrimage.

Very well located but quite abandoned. We went there to pray. It was closed. I coluld pray outside but my family couldn't. The toilet was closed. The women's compartment too.
The toilets around were with payment but even we wanted to pay we couldn't.
Jeddah was more expensive than Mekka and Medinah for sure. The taxi too.

Beautiful Masjid and still its Masjid and do prayers after become tourist place.
Some of the Masjid become tourists spot and very difficult to do prayers like Abu Dhabi Grant Mosque
