The duck was incredible. Soft shell crab and the truffle spring rolls were amazing. Good service. Easy free parking and accessibility.

Great Chinese restaurant in Shangri-la Jeddah. Couldn’t get a dinner booking for 8 pm and learnt that most restaurants are full from 8.30-11.00 pm. So the trick is to go early at 6.30 or 7 pm and you will always get a table. Service was great. Lots of veg options too.

Mel made sure that we enjoyed our food to the last bite. Very friendly and he really took good care of us. Service was excellent, as always. One of my favorite restaurants in Jeddah. Great ambiance. Superb food. Refreshing drinks. Will keep on coming back!

Our reservation was made for brunch at 3pm on 26th of January, we came in to celebrate my husband’s birthday, but unfortunately it turned out to be a disaster.
Service from reception was good upon arrival and our waiter was prompt in taking the order for us and explain which dishes we would be able to enjoy as we have some dietary requirements.
Prawn crackers and water to start took already over 10 minutes to touch our table even though we were the only ones in the restaurant; from here, everything started to go downhill: Our appetisers (dim sum) took ages to arrive to then be left with an empty table for 50 minutes waiting for our mains, rice and noodles - upon checking we were served after 10 more minutes with our noodles and rice, waited an extra 15 minutes and then our first (out of 4!) main course finally came. At this stage our rice was already cold and we refused to get any more food since it already was 4:45pm and barely any food was served to us even though the whole place was empty until 4pm. The manager was nowhere to be seen, until we asked for him - nonetheless we weren’t impressed at all with his reaction as it seemed quite normal for this to happen. We love Shang’s Palace all over the world and when we have the chance we visit, but unfortunately Jeddah’s one has been the worst by far to date. Birthday celebration was ruined!

Shang Palace is by far the best modern Chinese restaurant and only place in Jeddah that offers a glimpse into what real modern Chinese fine dining is all about.
The ambiance is wow, beautiful carpets, wood panelled walls with traditional vases display and great lighting for the dining everywhere give it that intimate modern Chinese dining room feel.
Kudos to the front of the house team and to the chef especially Chef Keith Yap he really passionate about making unforgettable food and great dining experience for each guest.
The food is excellent, was there to try their new Shang Palace Dim Dum brunch series and were absolutely delighted with the food.
It's unlimited course of dim sum, few mains in the menu to choose from and a dessert for closing of our meal.
Loved all the dim sum and the Hong Kong style chicken.
It's a must-try place, great for special occasions.
