The huge advantage of the hotel is its location. The Diplomatic Quarter is a great neighborhood with space to take a walk, go for a run or spend time in one of the multiple green parks. It beats most of the other areas in Riyadh in that dimension. The hotel itself is top level, with great food, nice gym, saunas opened till midnight and a relaxing patio. However, I feel that the level of service in the hotel could be improved. I had multiple occasions when I felt I wasn't served appropriately, e.g., the staff forgot to put a bath towel in my room, twice when I was calling to order room service nobody picked up the phone, when I asked that someone fixes my coffee machine they didn't send anyone and I had to remind about it. Overall, I would still prefer staying in Marriott DQ vs Ritz-Carlton on the other side of the road.

I had a very nice stay at Marriott Diplomatic Quarter. The room was very comfortable & clean, as well as the service was great & the staff of all outlets. And also, the housekeeping team was very professional, especially Rakib and Sobuz who were very friendly & approachable. I thank them all for the great job!

Service is spectacular, we were lucky to be upgraded without extra payment. The room is clean and smells really good. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely come back again.

Iftar by the pool.. what dreams are made of but reality was at the Marriott this week. Fabulous setting, great variety of food & quality plus service excellent . The staff friendly and courteous . Def worth a visit this Ramadan
