I was at the hotel in Sept 2022 and was travelling alone first time to Saudi for my Umrah. My stay at the Emaar Royal Hotel Medina was such a pleasant part of my Umrah trip. As I checked in early the front desk helped me get a room early, The level of service is exceptional all the staff are very welcoming and cordial, and the rooms are sleek and modern -The view from the room was serene. A big shoutout to the operational manager Mr Mohammed Al Khouly who was very attentive and cooperative and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable and pleasant.
The breakfast buffet was probably the best and most extensive selection I made it feel very luxurious. Overall a very relaxing and pleasant stay.
Would highly recommend your stay in Medina.

I wish I had read the comments before making a reservation at this hotel.
I had the worst experiences in my life.
-Waited 6 hours at the lobby to get our rooms with 2small kids and finally when we get a room it was not clean. Towels were dirty.
-Restaurant opens at 7pm for dinner but no food until 8pm. We waited at the restaurant for the food until it gets ready with starving kids.
-Most of the stuff doesn’t speak English and Arabic so it’s hard to communicate with them.
-Wifi is not working properly.
-It is far from Rawda. Take this into consideration.
-No view of the masjed al-nabawi.

A very very very bad experience of my whole life - non coaprative management , non coprative workers,very poor clinilines system cheapest Room service never never never recommended any one of the whole Muslim community

Worst stay of my life. I will never recommend anyone to stay in this horrible hotel. Very rude hospitality! And the room was not given to us on time and I had a very fussy toddler with me throughout our waiting time but still they weren’t giving us the room.
