Try and avoid this hotel, very old interior, the decor looks very bad. Only positive about this hotel is it’s not far from the mosque. They do clean the room daily but they do not change the bedsheets. Had to ask for toilet rolls et etc. #tryandavoid. This hotel
Is definitely not a 5 star hotel.

Disappointed by the service and the breakfast, rooms ok but not 5 star, very poor WiFi mean we just give up and start using mobile data

Pathetic service
Yiu have to call room service many times and then they will change bedsheets and clean room.
1 out of every four bed is smaller in room and they dont even bother to change it even after so many complains at phone as well as on reception.
The only catch is near haram gate 339.

I was at the hotel in Sept 2022 and was travelling alone first time to Saudi for my Umrah. My stay at the Emaar Royal Hotel Medina was such a pleasant part of my Umrah trip. As I checked in early the front desk helped me get a room early, The level of service is exceptional all the staff are very welcoming and cordial, and the rooms are sleek and modern -The view from the room was serene. A big shoutout to the operational manager Mr Mohammed Al Khouly who was very attentive and cooperative and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable and pleasant.
The breakfast buffet was probably the best and most extensive selection I made it feel very luxurious. Overall a very relaxing and pleasant stay.
Would highly recommend your stay in Medina.
