Al Madinah Concorde Hotel

Worst hotel in the history of hotels. It should rather call itself a museum since things are only for display and nothing works. Bad wifi, horrible room service ( they only do room service every 3 days), extremely rude staff who feel like they are the ones paying and you should be working for them. I had an elderly disabled mother, and due to the poor cleanliness in the room and also partly due to feeling unwell, she vomited, which I cleaned up with a hotel towel. The next thing I know is them telling me that I would need to pay "extra" charges for using that towel. Is this human decency? I checked out 2 days earlier than my intended stay and went to a different hotel, which complex changed my mood for my remaining trip. So glad I ran from this terrible hotel!

Absolutely no acknowledgement of myself and my family when i first walked in, the 2 guys at the front desk came across very rude, although no words were actually spoken, a smile and a hello to your guests wont kill! Secondly i booked a quadruple room, luckly before hand, the bell boy took me up to my room to have a look around, there was 5 beds bundled in a tiny room, the toilet had fruit flies in them, room was extremely airy and would make your claustrophobic side go off the roof. I went down told them 2 guys i wouldn't be able to stay in that room, response was you can cancell, thank Allah, ive been medina many times, so i straight away booked at a near by hotel Artal International, i stayed few weeks prior. Bear in mind i was with my wife and 2 young sons, so it could of been a big issue if i had not known medina very well. Despite the hotel being cheap, you still need to put some standards into place for your paying guests!

Our experience in The Madina Concorde Hotel has been an absolute pleasure. The staff is polite, welcoming and very helpful. It will be an excellent hotel if the showers are upgraded, though. A huge thank you to the management.
