Accessible directement depuis l'autoroute de Jeddah, Faisa'sl Finger est situé à l'ouest de Riyad et est également connu sous le nom de Qadmat Al Saqtah. Il fait partie de l'escarpement de Tuwaiq qui abrite la destination touristique populaire du bout du monde. Ce pilier de grès naturel de 70 mètres de haut, s'étendant à 200 mètres au-dessus des plaines du Jibal Tuwaiq, est souvent éclipsé par son attraction voisine, mais devient lentement plus populaire parmi les explorateurs et les touristes.

Le paysage et les attractions

Il vous faudrait environ 30 minutes de tout-terrain pour vous rendre à la base de Faisal's Finger. Assurez-vous de prendre un 4x4 car les chemins de terre peuvent être assez difficiles à conduire, et la dernière chose que vous voulez, c'est que votre voiture tombe en panne au milieu du désert chaud.

Une fois arrivé à destination, vous avez deux options, vous pouvez soit faire le tour de la base du site et profiter de la vue sur l'imposante falaise d'en bas, soit faire une randonnée et profiter de la vue panoramique sur le désert depuis le sommet du tour de grès. La randonnée n'est pas trop longue, cependant, à mesure que vous vous rapprochez du sommet, le chemin commence à devenir plus rocheux et cassant, vous devez donc vous assurer que vous portez vos meilleures chaussures de randonnée et faire preuve d'une extrême prudence car cela peut être très dangereux en raison des grosses gouttes.

Faisal's Finger est un endroit merveilleux pour de longues promenades, du VTT et pour admirer le coucher de soleil du haut de la falaise. De plus, vous avez également la chance de passer par d'autres attractions à proximité comme le bout du monde et Khashm Zubaydah.

This is very dangerous Hospital I know a child became blind on both eyes and stopped speaking and walking as a result of medical treatment at this hospital (King Faisal Specialist and Research Center Hospital). Be careful.

I was born here when they accepted non-citizens, I enjoy myself and think they did good lol. I think it might be a bit expensive since even my dad (Rich Businessman who owned several 20+ story buildings as offices for his company at the time) had difficulties paying the bill. My mom stayed for 44 days and the bill was around 1.1M SAR so a bit expensive but worth it I guess.
