As usual, after my previous stay and problems i had with this hotel, i came today to have some sandwiches with family in the lobby restaurant, same old story, they don’t get it from first time, order comes different than you asked for. There’s problem with the way waiters take orders and chefs prepare them. I always repeat this, this hotel counts on it’s history, location and finally focusing on corporation groups not ordinary guests. My opinion this hotel lacks discipline in guest caring and is suffering with service quality. This is an opinion of an elite member of Bonvoy not a random judgment. Management needs to be watched over.

From my experiences this was a fantastic stay! The room was clean and in good order! Breakfast had alot of options, and allowed me to start off each day just right. The room was spacious enough for me (solo traveler). The views were pretty good. One drawback for my location in the hotel was it was above the carousel (the music was noticeable). This being Saudi Arabia, the carousel was running late into the night as that was when it was coolest for families to be able to enjoy being outside. The security was fairly stout, and I felt safe. Parking was easy, and normally not too packed. Also not far from stores for shopping, and restaurants for meals. Overall a positive stay!

The hotel is generally good. I usually stay in this hotel for the past 4 years, and I’ve seen how service changed. I must say it was a lot better 4 years ago than today.
One really great reason why it’s worth staying here is the balcony. Another is definitely the Bonvoy loyalty program. Staff are very nice, restaurant/food is also good.
3 Things I would change; (follow me, I state 3 points about businesses I visit).
- reception staff can greet in a better way
- add valet parking
- improve the quality/speed of elevators

Le Meridien Hotel Al khobar is a very luxurious hotel overlooking the corniche along the Gulf. Nice position opposite to Khobar Corniche. Nice view at sunrise and sunset with the sea. Balcony is great to enjoy your coffee. The hotel is well located, the room was perfect, the facilities/restaurants were great and the staff were incredible. Rooms offer flat-screen TVs, minibars and free Wi-Fi. Upgraded rooms add access to a lounge serving breakfast and snacks (no charge). Other amenities include outdoor pool, and a gym, as well as a sauna and a tropical garden etc.
